About Windsor-Essex JOB DAY

You're invited to attend the most popular and biggest job and career fair in Windsor-Essex. The Windsor-Essex JOB DAY is the largest and most comprehensive event of its kind open to the general public.

JOB DAY is a collaborative initiative organized by New Canadians’ Centre of Excellence Inc. and facilitated together with other community partners and we are proud to be celebrating seven years of success!

Windsor-Essex JOB DAY is a multi-sector recruitment event that stimulates employment in a dynamic and proactive environment like no other. This year it is at the WFCU Centre, which is centrally locally within Windsor and offers free parking and is on a bus route.

Windsor-Essex JOB DAY is well known to cover every aspect of the job-search process, jobs, employment services, career development, education programs, continuing education, career training, self-employment/entrepreneurship services—in order to create a large number of employment opportunities for job seekers and to potentially develop all aspects of your career. Thus, attending is not just about finding employment, it's also about making you more employable. In the end, passion and drive may get individuals a foot in the door, but skills and knowledge will take you further.

Windsor-Essex JOB DAY is where qualified, experienced and motivated candidates go, to apply for jobs, connect with employers, connect with training opportunities and look at self-employment options. Last year Windsor-Essex JOB DAY attracted over 1200 participants. The event runs from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Integrating community programming and large-scale spectator events enables the WFCU Centre to focus on a diverse market of sports and entertainment enthusiasts, pre-schoolers, youth, adults, and seniors. The complex, located adjacent to a naturalized park, encourages and promotes a healthy lifestyle through cycling, sports and outdoor explorations in Little River Corridor.

The entire facility was designed to host special events, concerts and multi-level competitive tournaments. One facility with four rinks provides a convenient focal point for multi-day, multi-league events. The adjacent Community Centre includes a sports gymnasium, a leisure gymnasium and a reception hall.

WFCU offers FREE PARKING and is conveniently located on a bus route.
